a little bit of our story:

Benjamin Ballerina was born 1 year after we met at The Other Side Arts in Denver, Colorado where Dylan was the studio/gallery manager and Maggie was an art therapy intern. Together, with our extensive creative backgrounds and a desire to create products that are environmentally and socially responsible, we use only reclaimed materials and original imagery to create unique, one of a kind, handmade clothing for kids.

a little bit of our process:

With so many children's clothes being mass-produced, it all begins to look the same. Benjamin Ballerina clothing is created one piece at a time, by hand, from reclaimed fabrics. Each piece of fabric is then hand screen-printed with original photographic imagery. The imagery is based on a theme which will change bi-seasonally. By using reclaimed images and materials, we and you, are breathing new life into otherwise discarded and disregarded treasures of our everyday lives. Keep checking back and collect something to wear each season.

a little giving back:

A portion of sales goes to support Sent(a)Mental Studios - which in addition to a memorial project to suicide - offers a youth project that has been working with young people and suicide prevention for over 20 years - offering a safe space to a variety of youth to help facilitate a reclaiming of creative voice and exploring difficult emotions and experiences through creativity.

thanks again for stopping by.
